Microsoft want to see more regular Halo releases

343 studios didn't make that game either, your origional comment is silly.

So long as somebody releases a Halo Wars game. 343 studios are taking over as the lead Halo studio, and as they are a new studio, they can do whatever they want in terms of genre, though I would suspect the next Halo game would still be an FPS. When I said they, I really meant M$ as they are the ones in charge of the Halo franchise, and I would really like to see a Halo Wars 2, as the first game is one of my favourite of this generation

They didn't release Halo wars, and I very much doubt the would do an RTS like it, especially given the low sales. If you want a sequal, go talk to Ensemble.

M$ commissioned it, and I can't talk to Ensemble as they no longer exist. It also managed to sell 1.94m, which is certainly not a bad number of sales

MS only published the game, 343 studios had nothing to do with it, also 1.94 m is dismal for a Halo game.

I don't know why you are carrying on about this. I haven't seen anyone say that they did and you keep going out of your way to point out that they didn't.

And yes if you wish to compare the sales of different genre Halo games, 1.94m is not that great. Keep in mind though that it is the highest selling console RTS game. I'd say that distinction is nothing to sneeze at.

Lol, I'm beginning to suspect there is something personal going on between you and Munkeh111. Him saying, "So long as they release a sequel to Halo Wars I am happy" is in no way indicating that Bungie or 343 or MS already did release Halo Wars. All Munkeh111 was saying in his original comment (yeah the one you said is silly) is that as long as someone releases a sequel, he is happy. "They" could be anyone, it doesn't matter who, just as long as it's released, he's happy. Cut and dry, black and white. Then you come in out of nowhere and make the silly comment, and I quote, " Bungie did not make that game". Again, no one ever said they did, thus rendering your original comment completely useless given where the conversation was at that time.

As far as the Halo RTS, I don't care. We have a different opinion on that one, I think it was a success, you seem to hint at it being a failure. No problem there.

Re-read the OP, 343 studios are the people MS wants to see more Halo games from, the article didn't say anything about Ensemble Studios or Halo wars. Given that fact, it is easy to assertain that Munkeh111 was hoping 343 Studios was going to release a Halo Wars sequal. His statement was irrelevant to the thread, had he clarified his position, we would not be having this discussion.

Anyway, I have nothing against Munkeh111, I don't know him, and this, as far as I know, is my first encounter with the guy, I have not formed an opinion of him as of yet. 

Well, Halo Wars was mentioned in the first paragraph so perhaps you should take your own advice there ;) Yes the article is about more games from 343. It didn't specify that they be main games or spin off's or DLC, just more games. Halo Wars is a game and so would a sequel be. Munkeh111 just wants one plain and simple. His statement is not irrelevant to the thread because the thread is full of people spitting out ideas for possible Halo games, he was just the first one to say anything about Halo Wars 2. 

Munkeh didn't say anything about Bungie, so why did you? What was it in his comment about wishing for Halo Wars 2 compelled you to inform him that Bungie didn't make the first Halo Wars? It seems like such a bizarre response to what he said. Now had he said something like, "Oh awesome, MS wants more Halo games, now 343 can make a sequel to that great game Halo Wars that Bungie made", it would be perfectly normal for you to say what you did. I don't get what's so difficult about this, he just wants a Halo Wars 2. At least this is how I see it.
