That's the way racism goes. You hate a group of people, other then the ones you know.
Sadly, unless your the first Indian he has talked with, nothing in him is going to change. Hopefully enough interaction with people like you will make him realize it's him that's wrong, and not just that he happen to have met a few nice people he thinks are less then human
