Just be friends. But never get yourself into a situation where you have to say to her "I just want to be friends", because that will be the end of your friendship.
She seems like a pretty cool person so someone you ought to stay friends with. And who knows, maybe one day she'll slim down and she could turn into the girl of your dreams.
I do know this though, the more you get to know (and like) someone, the less significant their physical appearance becomes.
