Is it too late for the ps3 to beat 360! (or Wii)?

The original DS was IMO too bulky and I think mainly the most vivid Nintendo fans bought the device back then and the PSP is an enormous success, far more so (by an enormous factor) than any other direct competition Nintendo had to deal with in nearly two decades of handheld gaming market domination.

 True doesn't change a thing that everyone thought that the PSP would destroy the DS. PSP is doing fin, in terms of hardware, but it doesn't change the fact that it isn't performing like everyone thought before launch.

 The same can be said about the ideas of the performance before hand on the PS3.

On topic:

It is very very old topic, and no PS3 can beat the xbox360 however I can't see it reach Wii yet. I need to see some really new software for that.
