Nintendo's take on motion control is a money-hungry one...Move's take on motion control is more of a catering to fans...offering up another motion scheme to many currently made titles, and some more titles to add to the variety that is on their system for their users...That to me is the main difference between the two...At launch, Way before Wii Motion Plus released, Wii motion controls were 100% gimmick, and they pretty much stay that way with just about every title with the exception of Wii Sports Resort and the addition of Wii Motion Plus for that one title...On the other hand, Move has many titles already announced, many older titles getting remapped for options to use the move control scheme...And the controls work the way they're supposed to with no later addon required, feels more like a full product, versus something someone thought would make a lot of people buy it, while keeping costs way way down to make a huge profit....I'm sorry if my opinions aren't shared with yours, but every now and then I like to share them |
No problem...as I said b4 I am a Nintendo fan not a fanboy (there is a diff). My whole gripe and point is with the fanboys that still deny Sony shamelessly copied Nintendo once again( regardless of wheter they both had R&D at the same time); it's so blatantly obvious that only a fanboy could deny it. I am actually happy that Sony released their imitation as it will push Nintendo to be more creative. Competition only breeds better results in this industry. However your point of Nintendo being greedy and "X" company is for the fans is a bit naive. ALL COMPANIES including Nintendo are really after one thing: PROFIT and to think otherwise is naive and a bit immature. Sony didn't release the Move for the fans; they didn't even believe in motion control until Nintendo proved it was viable. They released it hoping to gain profit and weaken their competitor's hold on the market...plain and simple.
