Nope, if this update disables any device then any warning is just that, a simple warning.  Making up percentages was silly of course by the OP but that still doesn't change the fact people need to know their devices could stop working after this update.

You're just hiding behind the fear mongering excuse because you hate seeing bad press for Sony for some strange reason, it's not like this is hitting your pocket though is it?

But maybe you're claiming it's NOT fear mongering because you like bad PS3 press.  The logic cuts both ways.
