Then I'm sure I pointed out some old RE games take place in bright areas indoors or outside in daylight.  Zombies are not a staple of horror either, I guess other B.O.Ws don't count for some magic reason.

True but RE5 was like that 95% of the time, RE4 was creepier than RE5 and B.O.Ws from what game? The ones from past RE games were awsome..other than the licker RE5 was poo.
