Star Trek(2009). It was not toooooo bad, but certainly I wouldnt say it was good...or even much of a Star Trek movie really. I'm just really sick of the over the top, balls to the wall, super amped-up, super sexy, "i'm cool too, please love me!" nature of movies(and tv, music, even games). I almost turned off the movie after the painful first 25 minutes. Turns out that even all the yawn-inducing "edginess" couldnt completely derail the movie. The guy that played young Spock pretty much made the flick in my view.
I also watched Some Folks Call It A Sling Blade yesterday, the short that was remade/expanded into Sling Blade. Pretty interesting to see, though of course Sling Blade is a much more satisfying experience. Had no idea Molly Ringwald was in it(the short).
