The funny thing about this is that the next X-Box will definitely have a Blu-ray drive in it.

Just as the Wii would definately be able to play back DVD movies out of the box in the following generation because the ultra successful PS2 did it.

The Wii was never intended to be an all-in-one convergence device like the ps3 and 360.  I have no doubt the next Xbox will support Blu-ray playback alongside DVD and CD playback.  They'll do this at the very least to compete with Sony on a per feature basis (the HD DVD add-on says hello!), if not simply because they want to improve the inherent media playback functionality of the device.

MGS4 is about 50GB, Kojima san said he used all the space of a a D/L BU-RAY disc.

I don't know if he said that, but if he did he is a liar.

Kojima has only ever said that MGS4 maxed out a single-layer Blu-ray disc, thus necessitating the need to go dual-layered.  This was purposefully miscontrued by over zealous fans looking for reasons to praise Blu-ray, and the misinformation spread from there.

I am no Blu-Ray or PS3 Fanboy but I was just going on some articles I read about Kojima-San maxing a S/L BD-ROM and having to use a D/L and sill having to cut content for space constants.

Sorry.  Didn't meant to imply that was the case.  It was a couple of fanboys that initially spread the rumor, and it's been making the rounds ever since.  A lot of people, most of which aren't fanboys by any means, now believe the rumor to be fact simply because of what a few people were saying when Kojima first made the conmment.
