Yes, GT5 is teaming up with Honda for this event and the unveiling of their newest car. Polyphony didn't contact Honda and present the offer. Honda contacted Polyphony. They seen it as an opportunity and joined up with Honda to plan the event, to both advertise the car and GT5 at the same time. They didn't do it just for the car, they did it for the massive publicity it will draw. 

 

They are playing their cards just as they should.

I just find it incredibly badass that a gigantic car comapny calls up Polyphony for this.  The GT name really has a presence huh?
