Yes ure using the ethernet cable. The transfer is very easy and you get step by step instructions. All my data got copied/moved. There are some improvements to the heatsink and fan, power consumption and apparently wifi. The latest PS3 320gb is the one to get.

Wifi is better in range? or.... ?
