1. We got our first PS2 this year for Christmas (last January we got the Wii which was our first console). PS2 was the natural second console for us because we have young kids (5 and 9), and it seems to have the second best lineup for that demographic (Wii is better because it also plays the Gamecube games). So far we are loving it. The old games are so cheap when bought used, and the huge selection of exclusive games will keep us going for quite a while between AAA Wii software releases. Compared to the meager selection of E rated games on PS3 and 360, and the high cost of ownership of these consoles, getting a PS2 was an easy choice to make.
2. Don't own a PS1 game, don't see any right now that I feel the need to go seek.
3. So far the Ratchet and Clank series, and Eye Toy games.
