...and no doubt VGC is significantly overtracking 3DGH for America, just as they did Demon's Souls. Unfortunately, 3DGH didn't do well enough for Index to give figures for it in their last quarterly report (unlike DS, which they actually highlighted again for solid sustained sales), so we'll probably never get a more accurate readjustment unless there's an NPD leak, and even then that's not a sure thing for adjustments it seems (hello 150k Valkyria). :/ From did push 3DGH pretty hard though, and it had a ton of press. The game was an epic bomb considering the attention and promotion it got nationally, though R&D costs were probably pretty cheap at least, and I'd say it's probably done well in America, even if not as high as VGC pegs it. |
