what would you call exploding?

this last record week, 360 had a higher attach rate, which i think is what people call games sold per console, than the wii

wii had 1,5 million wii's and 6 million games
against 600.000 360's and 3,5 million games

just do the math

You think all those games were bought by people as they walked out the store with their console? No, they were were bought by the entire userbase, both new and old.

Attach rates are meaningless. They make consoles that sell well look bad and consoles with an old, stagnant userbase look good.

"The worst part about these reviews is they are [subjective]--and their scores often depend on how drunk you got the media at a Street Fighter event."  — Mona Hamilton, Capcom Senior VP of Marketing
