lol, this thread is in a timewarp from before the 3DS announcement. The PSP2 is going to launch well after the 3DS, because the 3DS will launch in at least one region this year while they haven't even announced a PSP2 yet.
The PSP2 was delayed because it was based on Tegra 2, which if you've been following the news has been dropped from tens of high-profile products often in favour of Intel's CE4100, or those products have been cancelled (many tablets).
They'd do well to get the PSP2 within a year of the 3DS launch, and given Tegra 2 missed performance and power targets by a large margin they either need to drop it (expensive) or having very poor price/performance against the 3DS. Just like those tablets and smartphones have.
