I don't think you understand Gamestops priorities. It goes like this:
Gamestop isn't like most retailers, they purposely create fake shortages because they know they're the place to get games in most parents and kids eyes. It's in the name of their company.
They won't pretend not to have something but they will flat out lie and tell you you're getting the last one or last one or two and then suggest you preorder your next upcoming game to make sure you get the game. If you preorder you are then obligated to buy there. That means they get another chance to get your used games which means they then get to sell those used games.
And that's only one of the reasons Gamestop flat out sucks. As Euphoria pointed out, you also have to deal with terrible employees.
I'm not trying to tell anyone not to get the Move and I'm not trying to suggest it isn't doing well, I am saying Gamestop lies to you and you should stop shopping there.
