We need to know how many they STARTED with!!!
THEN we can speculated if the trend in your are is generalized or just applies to your region.
You can go to a store and see that there are very few left or they are sold out, but if they started with very few or without even one, you cannot make a conclusion about sales. Without this info you are not speculating just guessing.
