I haven't read the article, but I'm assuming it's because gay people should be able to express themselves openly and not have to hide, and that discrimination needs to be fought against by changing people's views of gay people; not hiding gay people.

 

That's what I garnered, anyway.

Yeah you have a point i did read the article, it didnt really cover that. but i imagine its all about treating the gay/biosexual community the same as the hetrosexual, the policy at the moment prevents that equality.

however the problem is that i have three gay friends, and personally if i was in their position i would prefer to have my personal life private. so to me it seems Lady Gaga is more interested in the publicity of this type of thing rather than thinking about whats actully best for the non hetrosexual community.
