I have never been very sociable and so being dropped into a world where I know nobody really is more of a concern than excitement. As for accommodation, I have absolutely no idea what is going on, I guess I will find out when I go up there, but they haven't told me anything about it. When I went up there for the interview I was in a room with a nearby shared bathroom... which I wasn't a fan of to say the least |
Well, I'm sort of lucky in the sense that I have a close friend who's doing exactly the same course as me, I have 3-4 acquaintances from college that are also attending the Uni, and there's another Uni that's 10 minutes away which has another couple of friends that are going.
I'm not sharing accommodation with any of these people, or anything like that, but at least it gives us a small group of people to go to the bar with on the first night, kind of thing, until we get settled in.
