You guys were talking about the code as if it takes up a lot of space, but it barely takes up any. Talking about how much space AI and other code in the game will use is completely irrelevant, because it is utterly insignificant when all is said and done.

Well next time don't assume such things. Anyways, they all add up when it is all said and done..

The code is none the less completely and utterly irrelevant when talking about the size of a game. The code that forms the backbone of God of War III and which everything happens through takes up 5,3 MB of space. 5,3 MB! And the game takes up a total of 35 GB of space on the blu-ray (and that's the US version, which only has english in it. The european version is 40,2 GB). That's 0,014% of the total space the game uses, it's absolutely nothing.

There is more code than that in the game, but that should give you an idea of what I mean.

I will back you up lol, I'm a programmer and this is how it works GCI >> Textures >> Code, in FF's case look at FF13 there was alot of space eaten by the CGI sequences

it's the future of handheld
