Imports On The PlayStation Store Launches On September 21

By Spencer . September 16, 2010 . 4:04pm

When Sony Computer Entertainment America updates the PlayStation Store next week you’ll be able to access Imports on the PlayStation Store, a new area loaded with games directly from Japan.

MonkeyPaw Games is filling the imports section up with two PsOne titles, GaiaSeed and Cho Aniki. Both of these titles will be available for the first time in North America and, no, they aren’t localized. They’re horizontal shooters so they shouldn’t be too hard to figure out, but they do have Japanese text on menus to fumble through.

Here’s a look at the first two imports coming to PlayStation Network on September 21.

Arc The Lad And Alundra Revived For PlayStation Network

By Spencer . September 16, 2010 . 8:42am

Even though Working Designs is no more, a new generation will get a chance to play through their works. Two PsOne titles localized by Working Designs are getting a re-release, according to the ESRB.

The rating board has tactical RPG Arc the Lad and action RPG Alundra in their database listed as PSP and PlayStation 3 games. Future PsOne classics? Seems likely. Both titles are already on PlayStation Network in Japan.

This will also be the first time Arc the Lad will be released as a standalone game. In North America, Arc the Lad was part of the four game Arc the Lad Collection.
