If you were running a company, wouldn't you pick the one solution that gives me the most exposure and most chance to make money. If multi was the answer thanwouldn't you pick that?


You talk of exposure and revenue yet ignore development costs, work required, and time. Then consider the fact that multiplat=/=guaranteed success. 

Well, if it's not a success multiplat, why would it be a success on 1 platform? Wouldn't by releasing it on 1 platform essentially be playing it safe. Say, the development costs are lowered by a bit, but you have less people that you can sell it to.

There's other factors to consider such as which games appeal to each consoles userbase etc... which I'm sure from software pays people to do.
