This isn't a franchise that went multi though, as it can't. Sony owns Demon's Souls. This is the spiritual successor, not actual successor. Think - HEAVY RAIN & Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit, The Last Guardian and Shadow of the Colossus. TLG & HR are spiritual successors but different IPs.

I know its not demons souls. But its still multi. 

why? it's not like demon soul's on ps3 was anything the xbox 360 couldn't do technically speaking.

Because they now will focus on producing two engines instead of more content. If it was up to me every game would be exclusive to a system and multiplats would die away.

or they could make more money off this title from it being multi-platform, and then in the future have more money for more games from a great developer
