Now to start:
1) The sexism in the metroid game comes from a badass woman becoming demure and turning on the stove (reactor core) and putting away the technology and abilities that made her an awesome individual, to do a duty which isn't forced upon her but that she humbles herself to live up to anyway.
After playing this game I realized who this was targeted at. Japanese men. Samus is the perfect japanese woman.
Japan has too many independent women who don't want to settle down until their thirties or later. This game is about putting away the material possessions and learning discipline to use them sparingly, because it's dangerous to her "family".
2) Metroid has been a silent stalker bounty hunter for what, 7 games? 8? You're argument would make sense if you brought it up on ps1 solid snake. There've been 5 metal gear games thus far where the drama is such as it is now.
3) A man stripping naked is not sexist. In fact, it's awkward. A man is not appreciated for his body but for what he is capable of. The most sexist thing about metal gear is that he's an assassin. See sexism works like this, women are exploited for their bodies and men are exploited for their manual labor. Making those points is like...you're trying to point out how foolish people are...and then using justification that has no basis... I'm really shocked.
4) Now, also, you're talking about twin-snakes on the gamecube, am I correct? The difference here is that him pulling the trigger would kill his friend, whereas in metroid pulling the trigger would save her friend. Starting to notice a trend here of poor comparisons?
5) Again, a female boss is not sexist.
6) I won't address the story. That's the art of the game. I like metroid's story too. But I can also be respectful enough to understand that some people could take offense to it.
