This quote. "...But with Kinect, once you have the sensor, there's nothing else to buy..." is NOT encouraging.  But on the flip side, some of the current anime I'm seen thus far shows a mech pilot controlling the mech with arms and feet.  Granted this is fiction, it might be feasable to translate these action into something functional to control the mech in the game.  And it's possible to add a virtual control panel "off to the side" while utilizing voice commands.  But will voice commands be stifled by game sounds?
