Yeah, and to make things more clear, on Point to Point races you have to rely on your co driver, there is no circuit you drive on, only a map from point A to point B , thats why its called point to point.

A Rally circuit however would look like this (this is from motorstorm btw not GT)

So the random generated Point to Point race makes the number of races endless and each time you rally its going to be different.
