Halo fan CRIES at Halo Reach launch in London! (Very Very sad!)

I actually have a harder time understanding the guy who flew from Indiana U.S. to the UK in order to attend the UK GAME launch event. We arent talking of a special reception with bungie and pretty hostess here. Can someone enlighten me on this guy motivations?
