Sony - The Problem With Move - View Post

@Gamerace  i feel you on that, I understand but in my case the accuracy issue is what made me stop playing. When the novelty glasses came off and i realized this crap dont work that well, that was it for me. I read the article it was alright and honestly I dont give a damn what most lay people like and dont like. I gotta go with whats right for me and that would be a more accurate experience. Even if the product does look a bit soulless

Can't fault you there.  I'm sure there'll be a market for Move.  It's only a question of how big a market.

The problem is, no one wants this to be another eyetoy with limited pick-up and quickly abandoned by developers.

And if it only ends up appealling to a portion of the already installed base, it'll be a niche product indeed.

I'm sure Sony (and MS) would love to steal some if not all of Wii's marketshare, but I'm not seeing anything from either that'll make me think it'll happen in any meaningful way.

What's really scary is that outside of gaming and tech sites there's so little buzz for these that a early launch of 3DS would totally annihilate Move and Kinect's hype factor.
