The 'shovelware' is systematic of Move's bigger problem - being seen as Wii 2.0 without the personality of the Wii.

Pretty much everything in the launch line-up has been done already on Wii (most of Kinect's too) and while the tech is admittedly better, the games lack the Nintendo charm of Wii Sports.

As it is people whine that Wii's collect dust after a couple months.    If this line-up is any indication Move will collect dust after a couple days.

I don't think Socom will help.   IR pointer is superior to dual analog, but if your already great using analog sticks why go through the trouble (and arm strain) of learning how to actually aim?  If people really wanted that, FPSs on Wii would be huge.  It's not.  Won't be on Move either.

Could it be that people who want to play FPS games are not buying a Wii because there arent that many on there and the ones that are arent that great.  Where as there are plenty of them on the other 2 consoles

That is true.  But lots people own an HD system and a Wii.  If they really cherished the improved aiming IR gave, they'd get CoD on Wii (as well as or instead of HD).   Heck, if they wanted the best aiming and graphics they'd play on PC.   As is I wouldn't expect FPS on Wii to be monster sellers due to the graphics/power limitations but I would expect them to sell a lot more if motion/IR aiming matter to the FPS crowd.   It doesn't and Move owners will quickly go back to Dual analog after the novelty wears off.
