I was thinking about getting an ipad but couldnt find any real uses for it, but with this device i could share my XNA projects and code anywhere in the house, i could remote into my desktop to check on download progress, browse forums and post with my bluetooth keyboard (if it doesnt have bluetooth i can always use my dongle :P) play flash games as well as install some WC3! CF FTW!
i will say this that it may not be an instant resume like say an ipads, but my laptop running win 7 is always on sleep and they have drastically decreased how fast it takes it to boot up, im talking like 10-15seconds.
