Maybe I'm speaking a bit rashly, here.

I don't think that this decision is going to be upheld, and if it is then we may see regulatory laws concerning what is or is not allowed in EULAs.

Though that would take time, and the entire tide of an industry could be swayed by then.

 

Not that i at all approve of this. There's a difference between software that must by nature be installed and software that cannot be, and it would be hard to stretch that definition to cover console gaming.
