Not a fan of Gaga, but what an awful article full of overblown expressions. "communicate mutely via a constant stream of atomised, telegraphic text messages", "a laminated piece of ersatz rococo furniture", wtf. It's fine to include a few like those, but the thing is made up of them. Sounds more pretentious that Gaga^2 and certainly preachy and bitter as hell. Who's this lady to decide what's sexy and what isn't anyway.
