Why not just get the Xbox Arcade with 4GB and Halo Reach. That's 260... instead 400. Especially if you're getting it for just one game.

I wouldn't get a used refurb... unless they have a good warranty... and even then I'd recommend against it Unless it is way cheaper.

I can't say which one to get. because I don't like halo that much though I'm going to rent it... and I don't plan I getting the move.

That's probably the best way to go about it honestly. I just looked up the bundle on amazon: It comes with one controller, one month of live. I already have a handful of AA batteries and my PS3 ethernet cable.

I'll have to extend live eventually, and I see myself buying a headset because I like to trashtalk. The only thing I'm afraid of is future DLC. will 4GB hold up?

The negatives on this... depend on a few things though.
The headset (Do you still have that, or want to use it.)
Do you still have old controllers if you want to play it with friends locally. (Or is this not necessary.)
The Hard Drive (May or may not be an issue) But compare it to Halo 3 DLC I'd guess.
The Halo Reach Bundle comes with 2 controllers and a bigger hard drive. Or does it come with more... I didn't research it that much.

Also, do you have an HDMI cable?... or the old 360 cable with Component (the 5 plug one)? Because the Arcade only comes with an RCA cable (atleat mine did). And if you have an HDTV that's sucks... though you can get HDMI cables cheap on ebay. And I'm not sure which ones the halo reach bundle comes with.

See this is why I considered the 400 bundle. It comes with two controllers (I love having my brothers over for gaming over the weekend), a headset, and I'm assuming the HDMI cable?

So I'm going to at least put another $70 on top of that 260. Still, $330 is cheaper. But for one game ... I should have my brothers buy their own fucking controller -_-
