The PS2 has at least two more years of life left, but its main market is going to shift to what the economists call the global semi-periphery -- places like China, Russia, Brazil, and urban India, where average incomes are $2000 to $4000 per year. Most likely, they'll cut the price to $99 sometime early next year.
