Halo Reach: Giving into the hype. Need your opinion.

I went from $445, your deal, plus one year of live which is about ~$50, minus the $100 from selling your last 360 and I ended up with around $400.

Is Halo Reach worth $400 to you? Or would you rather save that money and spend it on something else? Maybe not even Move, maybe you'd rather spend it on other things.

 

Give it some thought, and then answer the question for yourself. Is halo worth that much money for you? If yes, get it. If no, find out what you'd rather spend your money on.

 

Also, the reason I asked if you had any friends with a 360 is because you could simply go to their house to play Reach online. Yes, you would be rather limited in your online play, but it would be extremely cheap monetary wise.

 

EDIT: As the man above me said, you could simple get a cheap used 360 for this game. Look on Amazon and other sites to see what they're going for, it would be significantly cheaper than buying this bundle.

see the reason I'm considering the bundle (slim) is because I know I'm going to play it online for at least a year just like I did with Halo 3. But you make (or the person above you) a valid point. I can get a cheaper older version model and play the heck out of it. Do refurb 360s have a warranty?

I really don't want to spend so much money on this honestly, so if I can get it cheaper that would be awesome. I'm also kicking myself for selling my 360 at this point.

A friend? I think I have only one friend who'd be willing to lend me her 360 but her boyfriend is a dipshit ass. And I really don't like coming off as a moocher. Good suggestion but out of the question.
