The first one has a better story.
The second one has better guns that are more customizable and the gameplay is more challenging. There isn't really a story in the second game which is fine its basically kill this terrorist that is reaking havoc for some reason. The second game requires you and your partner to make choices that could screw each other it makes for a good time. So if you only have time for one game I recomend 2 more. Still if you have time I'm sure the first one is dirt cheap by now.
