True story, only the names have been changed to protect the innocent.

Dude (some time in the last year or so): I want to get a PS3 and finally get into this generation of game consoles now that the price has come down to an affordable level.

Dude's partner: does it have the exercise games like the Wii?

Dude: No.

Dude's partner: Then I want a Wii

Dude: Ummmmmm...I think I'll go play on PC some more.

Result: Dude doesn't buy a console, because the games he wants are on PS3. Dude's partner doesn't buy a Wii because she's not all that fussed.

... Playstation Move launch is now imminent.

Dude: Hey look sweetie, darling, sweetie the PS3 now has a thing that makes it work like a Wii.

Dude's Partner: Oh yeah, does it have the exercise games like the Wii?

Dude: erm, I think, maybe yes, I'll check...

Result: No "PS Move Fit" = no PS3.

Xbox360+Kinect would have had the same problem in some households I think. But MS has its Wii fit-too game. So they've covered that base, which means no barrier to entry.

But where it PS3's Wii Fit-too? From the Move launch titles I've seen none of the games really equate to Wii Fit.
