Well, As long as the PS3 is pushing units it is all good for Sony. Blu-Ray player from Sony playing Blu-Ray movies from Sony. But that point aside...
Of course a few people will buy the PS3 to play movies primarily. I doubt the ratio is high when compared to those bought for gaming, but of course people have bought the PS3 for that reason.
Look at influenza and cold medicine: A good amount of it is bought only for the amphetamines(I think this is what is used), but they don't mention that.
Ok... bad example, but I think I got my point across.
