This is quite possibly the most insulting thing anyone has ever said to me...good thing I don't take things personally.

Lots of games have douchebag fans, but by mitigating the work that Bungie does for it's fans with a statement like this, you do a great disservice to a developer that really cares for it's fans.  THat's a shame IMO.  I'll get off my soapbox though, just a thought.

Sorry, I think you perhaps read more into my statement than I intended people to take from it.

Hiphop gamer is an American male aged in his late 20s? (guessing as to age). Which, I hope I can say without offending anyone, is the target market of the majority of FPS games, certainly it is one of Halo's main markets.

I was not trying to imply that the main market for halo is dickheads, which is I think what you inferred from my post? Anyway, sorry if I upset or offended you, that was not my intention.

All I was saying is that the phrase "even the hiphopgamer likes halo reach" seems a bit of a weird expression to me. In order to use the phrase "even x likes y", it has to be common knowledge that x would usually dislike things that are similar to y, which I don't see in this case.

Of course, if Hiphopgamer is renowned for hating MS, bungie, Halo, FPS or console games, then it is completely legit.

Nah, I probably over-reacted, because I think Hip-Hop Gamer is part of the problem with Video Game "Journalism".  He's a complete fanboy (which there is nothing wrong with) but uses his show to promote that agenda.  Fools like him keep the standards for quality low, and then try to take them ever lower (IMO, of course).

Peace?

Thanks for explaining who he was I had no idea

that wasn't an explination that was an opinion... if you want to form your own goto Hiphopgamershow.com and I also recomend hitting up thebitbag.com Tor Davis is super professional and you wont see much copy and past on his site.
