Favourite: FFVI - I could post an entire thesis of reasons as to why FFVI stands above all others as my favourite game. But I will resume it all into one scene. That scene captivated me right from the moment it started, and even after all this years, it still moves me in a very deep way. I'm talking about the Opera Scene with Aria di Mezzo Carettere.
Worst: FFIII (NES version) - Bland JRPG in every aspect, horrible to non-existent story, pathetic battle system and crappy Job System implementation and some of the worst 8-bit songs I've heard, they even butchered the FF overture >_>
