@TheRealMafoo

Whenever you have a Muslim Extremest commit a crime, the government and media are quick to say that man was crazy, and alone. What he did has nothing to do with being Muslim.

Well most of those people are crazy, considering what they believe and what they do. Religous texts say lots of things, but most religious people have personal interpretations of said texts and generally pick certain values/commandments over others. So you could say that in the end it all comes down to the individual in situations like these. Plus you can't deny the nationalist sentiments that also fuel these individuals' actions. Many of them don't like that fact that the US interferes with their home countrie's affairs. So this is not just about religion. Also replace the term "crime" with "terrorist act", as "crime" is to ambiguous, and can ecompass petty things like shoplifting.

The problem is, there is a percentage that's not peaceful. A well organized, well funded, sect of the Muslim religion we really do need to know about, and combat against. That small percentage is hiding behind the larger religion, and we are letting them.

Everyone knows they exist. Lot's of people think all muslims are like that (Islamophobia has never been more widespread). This particular church hates muslims in general, and thinks all muslims are terrorists.

This church did a great job of showing the world they are still there. People want American, and it's way of life dead, and 99.99% of them are Muslim.

As I said this church believes that all muslims are terrorists. Their actions did nothing more than insult and anger ALL muslims, not just the terrorists. I'm pretty sure the terrorists will use this church's acts as proof that Americans want to destroy muslims and recruit new members from third world muslim countries where people don't have access to good education and information. And I'm pretty sure North Koreans don't like Americans either, and they're not mulsims, so it's wrong to say that 99.99% of America's enemies are muslim.

I am sure I can find a religious organization in the US that have equally offended Jews, Buddhist, Christians, Hindus, Atheists, Wiccan's, and a dozen other religions, who have no members wishing the extinction of the US over it.

I'm pretty sure there are at least some Christians, Jews, Buddhist, Hindus etc. who would be crazy enough to want to destroy a whole country because they were insulted. It's ridiculous that you think that only a radical muslim could think like that. Why do you think American right wing Christians are so obssessed with guns?

We need to know, and be remembers, these people are out there. To say the Muslim religion has nothing to do with it, is dishonest to the American people.

As I said, most believers of a religion have their own personal interpretation of said religion. Some beleivers have similar interpretations and they tend to flock together. That doesn't meant that the religion itself is to blame, and members of all religions could behave in such an extreme way (granted the Abrahamic religions seem by far to have the most violent extremists). I suppose you blame Christianity for the abortion clinic bombings too? (if you don't then you're inconsistent in your views)
