Homosexuality/bisexuality is free choice. Drugs and party lifestyle are associated with being a homosexual/bisexual. I personally do not see a link between gay/bisexual with a genetic defect. Gay/Bisexuality is individual free choice. Social liberal democracy would practise tolerance and acceptance to homosexuals and bisexuals who are a minority group within society. Social liberal democracy in modern nations now officially accepts same sex marriages.

Homophobia is not cool and should be condemned. Extreme draconian measures carried out under a conservative secular Muslim/Islam country still continue to execute homosexuals/bisexuals for practising their sexuality. 

Free choice of sexuality so long as it does not impact others or forced onto other people.

Homosexuality is not a choice, like cliffhanger said the only choice you have is whether to repress or to accept it. Also most of my gay friends are not into the drug and party lifestyle, they're just looking for the right person just like everybody else.
