Physics are debatable, unless you have played both games and actually know the difference. Id imagine gravity/physics programming is sort of similar in both versions.

1:1 control wasn't always a big problem in BB, and i guess you would have to play it to know.

same applies for you, until you play on both you know squat all right now from videos alone i would personally say tumble physics >> boom blox physics

Boom Blox doesn't have realistic physics actually, shit flies all over the place, when you knock it over, so comparing realistic physics to cartoonish ones isn't fair.
