The heat you are feeling (I'm guessing) is coming from the exhaust fan on the top of the console. The inside of the console actually runs considerably cooler than the older model 360's. The exhaust fans are just far more efficient on the 360 S. If you don't feel the heat being blow out of the top of the console then I would be concerned. Enjoy your new system.
