Yes, well Fiscal Year included the first month of NA/Europe FFXIII sales and Japanese Sales. As well as DQ IX sales in Japan. So it's not really too hard to guess why that was their most profitable year.

But yes, they were making profit before while developing it. I'm sure you understood. But I agree with you on Multiplat not being necessary to make money.  As I'm sure those Nintendo Exclusive Dragon Quest Games and Dragon Quest Spinoffs make money, and other more cool games like TWEWY.

But, I'm not sure that FFXIII didn't benefit from being multiplatform. And how much it cost to port. How much if any Sony, Microsoft paid for timed exclusivity in regions. And how much did FFXIII actually cost to make. No one really knows besides them. Everything so far is just guesses. By me, or anyone... unless there are spies XD
