That depends on how they spelled it to be honest. Multiple spellings of it are considered correct if you went with a sole spelling you would of just mispelled it as well. "Qur'an" being the most popular.
Qur'an, Quran, Koran and Coran are all acceptable spellings. That tends to happen when something is only known in one alphabet and then is transfered to another.
If they spelled different then that... probably a problem though. I've seen an extra A thrown in there Quaran often. Pretty sure that one is just poor spelling though.
I wouldn't equate spelling to intellegence though, many many brilliant and great men couldn't spell or conjugate worth anything. Teddy Roosevelt comes to mind as a horrible speller.
In fact, he was so bad at spelling he tried to pass a law to make everything spelled phoentically.
Which, I kinda wish would of passed. Would make more sense and make it easier for foreigners to learn english. Or actually, just kids too.
That most asians are genetically better at math is a myth... but that they are better at math isn't... and it's all because their number system is simplier and makes a lot of sense. No Twelves, or Sixteens, or any of that bullshit.
