Did Sega ever release Yakuza for the PS2 in America?


 

Yakuza came to NA back in 2006, 10 months after Japan. Yakuza 2 is coming sometime in 2008, (no hard release yet) it was released in Japan December 2006.

Awesome, Sega needs to localize Yakuza 2 fast....


Well, awesome we get it, not awesome we have to wait almost a year for it lol.

 


I know right? But its worth it considering the Yakuza fans here in America (if any) can play it and right after they finish Yakuza 2 they can dive straight into Yakuza 3.


I read that Sega was rushing to get Yakuza 2 over to the US just because of Yakuza 3 coming out in Japan soon (Not sure where I read it).  Yakuza 3 is suppose to hit March 06, 2008 in Japan, so MAYBE we'll have it this year yet in the US...like Nov/Dec. 08'....I'm hoping!



Well, I now only have access to a PS3 & 360...Plan on buying a wii soon (lol, if I can ever find one available!) but will probably wait until some of the major RPG's come out like Dragon Quest & Tales, etc.

Anyhow, I'm so far behind in games to play that I'm not in a huge hurry (lol, haven't even gotten a chance to finish God of War II yet!)
