I haven't played them, but there's the Penumbra series.
If you're a fan of user mods, I believe the Half-Life mod Afraid of Monsters is popular.
F.E.A.R was okay and has some jump at you moments, but it's mostly a tight corridor shooter.
I'm not much of a horror person so I don't usually play these kinds of games.
