I think it is safe to say that Microsoft wants money more than Sony does.
The PS3 was $599 because it had to be (for what tech it was offering at the time)
Microsofts proprietary hard drives and LIVE fees alone show me that Microsoft is more business oriented than gaming oriented.
But thats a good thing right, it is a gaming business, is it not?
Regardless, I think we can all agree in wanting Microsoft, (the company notorious for hostile monopolization of market segments) to fail, and fail badly.
