No it didn't hurts Tales of Graces sales.

Tales of Graces released a week before Final Fantasy XIII... On a console more than double the userbase, and in the holiday season. Final Fantasy XIII is not the reason why Tales of Graces underperformed on Wii.

yeah it underperformed because Namco Bandai released a crappy buggy game
